In 1600, at the Battle of Sekigahara, Tokugawa Ieyasu commanded his troops with fierce determination. Despite an initial disadvantage, his tactical brilliance turned the tide. Ieyasu's forces launched a surprise attack on enemy troops, leading to the defection of a key general. Together, they repelled the enemy's fierce assault and emerged victorious.
The Battle of Sekigahara marked the end of Japan's Warring States period, and Ieyasu's leadership paved the way for the establishment of the Tokugawa Shogunate, which would rule Japan for 264 years. His feats earned him the title of "Tōshō Daigongen," and he is remembered as one of Japan's greatest political leaders.
